Crossover GMC Offers Top Fuel Efficiency

When you think about SUVs from GMC, the first thing that comes to mind probably isn’t fuel efficiency. While GMC trucks and cars are well built, reliable and stylish, they haven’t always been the best at the gas pump. However, the all new GMC Terrain for 2010 is changing all of that.
The new Terrain takes the rich GMC history of engineering excellence and applies it to a smaller, more fuel efficient package. This vehicle gets an amazing 32 miles per gallon on the highway, and yet has all of the capability you’ve come to expect from GMC.
The 2010 GMC Terrian comes with a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine with direct injection. The vehicle veatures a special “ECO” mode that can be activated using a button on the console. What this does is to lower the torque converter lockup speed, which in the end helps to save fuel.
And, of course, the vehicle has plenty of standard equipment. There is a rear-vision camera, power liftgate, Bluetooth connectivity, and much more including USB audio connectivity.
If you’re looking for a crossover SUV that won’t break the bank at the gas pump, consider the 2010 GMC Terrain. Your GMC dealer near Springfield can help you find just the right one for your needs.
