Driving the 2009 Pontiac Vibe

The 2009 Pontiac Vibe is, at the most basic level, an easy drive. The shifter for the five speed automatic transmission of the Vibe comes out of the dash. Still, it feels like it’s in the perfect place for when you need a quick shift. When you shift into reverse, you don’t have to pull up or do anything special. You just push straight in. There’s plenty of room in the pedal area for braking and clutching, too.
The Vibe accelerates just fine for a car of its size. It also features ABS, tire pressure monitors, stability controls and six air bags. The Vibe handles well, and has enough safety features to put your mind at ease.
